               THE ANCIENT ART OF REIKI WELLNESS

REIKI is a form of hands on healing dating back thousands of years before any religion was ever established. this ancient art form of techniques was passed from generation to generation by word of mouth and over time the teachings were lost. It wasn't until a Japanese scholar by the name of dr. MIKAO USUI rediscovered the art of healing. He coined the name Reiki, a Japanese two syllable word meaning "UNIVERSIAL life force." REIKI is pronounced "RAY-key" IT IS ALSO KNOWN AS CHI,PRANA, OR QI ENERGY OF OTHER CULTURES, BUT IT IS THE SAME UNVERSIAL ENERGY.

We all have the unseen energy that can be manipulated to advance the healing of wellness in the body. When our life force energy is low, it leaves us feeling run down, cranky, and more opened to physical problems such as head aches, insomnia, stomach problems and other ailments.

how is REIKI performed on a individual?  a PRACTIONER SUCH AS MYSELF TRANSFERS THE NATURAL HEALING ENERGY THROUGH MY HANDS TO THE AREAS OF THE CLIENT'S BODY THAT IS LOW ON LIFE FORCE ENERGY. EACH HEALING SESSION IS ALWAYS DONE WITH THE INTENTION OF GOOD HEALTH AND HAPPINESS FOR THE CLIENT.

WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE FOR REIKI?  A CLIENT IS FULLY CLOTHED, KEEPS AN OPEN MIND, CAN EITHER BE IN A SITTING POSTURE OR LYING DOWN ON A TABLE. DEPENDING ON THE NEEDS OF A CLIENT, THE SESSION CAN BE A HALF HOUR TO AN HOUR. REPEATED SESSIONS MAY BE RECOMMENDED DEPENDING ON THE HEALING EXPERIENCES OF THE CLIENT.

WHAT DOES REIKI FEEL LIKE?  REIKI IS PAIN FREE, RELAXING, AND SOOTHING. THERE IS NOT ANY TISSUE OR MUSCLE TRAUMA. REIKI HAS BEEN DESCRIBED AS A VERY MELLOW ENERGY MASSAGE WITHOUT THE BODY BEING SUBJECTED TO FORCEFULL MANIPULATION OF ITS MUSCLES.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF REIKI?  CLIENTS WILL FIND BY RECIEVING THIS ANCIENT ART OF ENERGY GIFTING, THE MUSCLES IN THE BODY ARE MORE RELAXED WHICH INCREASES BLOOD FLOW TO AREAS OF THE BODY THAT NEED TREATMENT, INCREASING THE HEALING PROCESS OF THE CLIENTS BODY.

THE HOLISTIC HEALING OF REIKI IS NOT WIDELY KNOWN OR PRACTICED IN THE WESTERN SOCIETY BUT WITH THE WORLD ISSUES OF TODAY TAKING A TOLL ON HUMANITY, THERE ARE THOSE WHO ARE LOOKING FOR A BETTER ALTERNATIVE TO THE EVERYDAY DEMANDS OF LIFE AND THE STRESSES THAT COME WITH IT. SOME HOSPITALS AND THERAPY CENTERS ARE NOW OFFERING REIKI HEALING FOR THEIR PATIENTS AS AN ADDED TREATMENT TO THE RECOVERY PROCESS.

Reiki treatments are so universal that it can be done at home, at the office, in public, or for those individuals who are in another town, state, or country, Reiki can be sent via the earth's energy grids. just remember the key to receiving energy wellness starts with an open mind and heart. REIKI will take care of the rest as you start to heal from within.

May 2018, further training in the art of reiki healing, I received certification as a reiki crystal master/teacher  under reiki master lisa powers of udemy institute.
